With the nice weather and golf season in full swing, we’re thrilled to announce our first set of post-lockdown activities! During our first months of operation, our goal is to continue to deliver safe entertainment for our great community—whether you golf or not! Here is a bit more about our upcoming (outdoor-only) events:
Canada Day Celebrations
With Canada Day just around the corner, we’d like to invite you to join us for dinner, live music and fireworks on Thursday July 1, 2021. Dinner reservations at Theo’s will be available at 5PM, 6:30PM and 8PM (UPDATE: our 6:30 p.m. and 8 p.m. seatings are SOLD OUT), for 1.5hr seatings, and all seatings will feature live music! Our Canada Day fireworks display will start around dusk (10PM), which means that only those with an 8 o’clock reservation will be able to stick around and enjoy our fireworks show. Golfers are recommended to book (or adjust) their tee times accordingly to allow them to join us on time for dinner.
With regard to our 8PM seating, guests have the choice to either book a table at Theo’s (dinner reservations only), or reserve a picnic (take-out) spot in the grass for groups up to 6 people. (UPDATE: our 8PM seating – both patio and picnic – is SOLD OUT). Only those seated at Theo’s will be able to order off our full menu. Those in a picnic (take-out) spot must bring their own lawn chairs and/or blankets, as no physical seating will be provided. Picnic areas will be clearly marked and groups are not to leave their “bubble”. A selection of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages will be available for purchase, as well as grilled hotdogs and hamburgers (no outside food or drinks allowed). Picnic spots will cost $10 per person, and include one (veggie) hamburger or hotdog, and one soft drink.

Member Tournament
A couple days after our Canada Day celebrations, on Sunday July 4, 2021, our first Member Tournament will take place. (Think of a day full of golf, delicious food, drinks, prizes and more!) This event is for members only, one of many to come, to express our gratitude for their continued support, trust, patience, and understanding, both before and during our opening. More information has been sent to members via email earlier this week.
Golf Leagues and Tournaments
Early July seems to be the gift that keeps on giving… Our men’s league (members only) will start on Wednesday July 7, 2021, and our ladies fun league (both public and members) will have its opening night on Tuesday July 6, 2021. Registration can be done via email (to tyler.ma@theoxfordhills.ca) or in-person at the course. Each individual league night will be filled with food, beer and wine specials!
Additionally, a range of golf tournaments are already in the books for August and September:
- August 15, 2021 – Vuteq Golf Tournament
- August 21, 2021 – Swing for Safety Charity Golf Tournament
- August 28, 2021 – Kirwin Cares Century 21 Charity Golf Tournament
- September 13, 2021 – London Senior Tour
While vaccination against COVID-19 is in full swing and restrictions are slowly getting lifted, we continue to promote healthy behaviours (such as social distancing, mask wearing and the like) that reduce the spread of the virus.
