Event Coordinator, Hillary Beselaere, has found her passion in all things event related. Since Hillary can remember, she’s had an affinity for weddings, holidays, birthdays, and celebrating all major milestones in life. It is Hillary’s passion to help people celebrate the beautiful moments in their lives.

About Hillary

Certified wedding and event planner, Hillary, was born and raised in Oxford County. She grew up in Tillsonburg, and went to high school at St. Mary’s in Woodstock. After high school, Hillary went to Fanshawe College for Fashion Merchandising in London, and worked a couple years in the retail industry. Looking for a new challenge, Hillary then moved back to Tillsonburg, switched career paths and found her passion in the food & beverage and event industry. After working at a local restaurant, every bone in her body was telling her to pursue her aspiration of becoming a certified wedding and event planner. And so, she did! Hillary’s childhood dream came true as she received her certification through WPIC (The Wedding Planners Institute of Canada) in Toronto.

Ever since, Hillary’s day-to-day has consisted of creating dream events for clients and making attendees happy. Keen to fulfill wishes, Hillary is driven to use her creative vision to turn her client’s ideas into reality – from concept to execution. She loves being able to bring clients’ thoughts to life and provide them with the picture-perfect day they always envisioned. Hillary has a proven track record of organizing and managing all sorts of events that surpass customers’ expectations.

Whether it’s meeting with clients to discuss their needs, maintaining partnerships with vendors and caterers, or overseeing the set-up, execution and cleanup of events – Hillary draws her energy from a genuine passion for it all! Full of great ideas and committed to excellence, it’s not surprising that Hillary is right at home at The Oxford Hills. 

When she’s actually at home, Hillary enjoys spending her spare time with her boyfriend Troy and their dog Luna. Being wine and craft beer enthusiasts, they regularly seek out new local options to try. Recently, Hillary has rediscovered her love for the violin, and has started with lessons taught by her grade 5 music teacher. Who knows, rather than booking live music artists for events, soon, Hillary may be able to be part of the entertainment herself!
